District Manager - 3rd Shift The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel publishes SE Wisconsin's leading newspaper, and a wide range of innovative printed and electronic products that are the region's best sources of local news and information Journal Sentinel Inc has an opening at its West Bend Distribution center for the position of District Manager. In this position you will direct, conduct and monitor distribution, delivery and service of all publications produced or handled by The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel to residential, retail and business customers within a designated geographical territory. A District Manager limits and resolves service issues while maintaining acceptable performance levels via management of the independent contracted carrier force. You must have good written and oral communications skills. Also necessary is a successful leadership style, inter-personal, planning, organizational, training and decision making skills and a High school diploma. Desired qualifications include a college degree and/or previous management or supervisory experience. A pleasant disposition while managing multiple tasks and a roll up the sleeves attitude are also desired. You must have a valid WI driver's license, a good driving record, and have a dependable, insured vehicle. Mileage for business use is compensated.
